Weeping tile is essential to a dry basement and a happy homeowner.  The weeping tile allows water that seeps into the ground an opportunity to be guided away from the home and discharged. Most modern homes have weeping tile pipes installed inside under the concrete slab as well as outside, allowing drainage for water that still got inside through or under foundation walls.  Many older homes in Thunder Bay do not have weeping tile systems, they are more likely to have water problem.
